2. Who we are and regulatory status
Baashir Advisory Group Limited is a company registered in Hong Kong providing independent Shariah-aligned advisory, educational resources, and strategic introductions. We operate under the nature of professional and advisory services. The following regulatory boundaries apply:
Securities and Futures Commission (SFC): We are not licensed by the SFC. We do not carry out regulated activities such as dealing in securities, advising on corporate finance, or asset management. We do not provide investment advice on the merits of any transaction, solicit investments, or handle client funds.
Insurance Authority (IA): We are not an authorized insurer or licensed insurance intermediary. Any Takaful or insurance-related discussion is structural or educational only and does not constitute arranging or advising on insurance contracts in Hong Kong.
Estate Agents Authority (EAA): Under the Estate Agents (Exemption from Licensing) Order, we are not licensed to deal with property situated in Hong Kong. Overseas property introductions are limited to properties outside Hong Kong and are partner-led — not Hong Kong estate agency.
3. Website use
You agree to use baashir.com.hk lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, data, or accounts
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute content at scale without written permission
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful information through our forms
- Use the site to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful material

4. Nature of advisory services
Our Shariah advisory is independent, AAOIFI-aligned where we apply published standards, and scoped to the engagement letter or booking you accept. Outputs — including memos, certificates, screening notes, and oral guidance — reflect the information you provide and the agreed scope. They are not a guarantee of commercial outcome, regulatory approval elsewhere, or suitability for every jurisdiction. You remain responsible for your own business, financial, and legal decisions.
5. Technology and calculators
Calculators (Zakat, Faraid/inheritance, screening checklists), articles, and AI-assisted tools on our website are educational aids. They help organise information and illustrate common principles — they are not personalised fatwas, legal opinions, or regulated investment advice. AI outputs are reviewed by humans for paid engagements where applicable, but automated responses may be incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Formal certificates and written opinions require a booked service.
6. Overseas property introductions
Property listings and introductions relate to markets outside Hong Kong unless explicitly stated otherwise. We do not act as your estate agent in Hong Kong. Partner developers, agents, and lawyers operate under their own licences and terms. You must conduct independent due diligence — legal, tax, Shariah, and commercial — before any transaction. We may receive referral fees from partners; where material, we will disclose this in the relevant engagement.
7. Bookings and payment
When you book a service, you agree to provide accurate information and to pay fees stated on the invoice or booking page within the specified timeframe. Services requiring third-party scheduling (scholars, venues, partners) may not be confirmed until payment is received. Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be communicated at booking. Prices may change for future bookings; confirmed engagements honour the agreed fee unless both parties agree otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
All website content — text, logos, frameworks, articles, tool logic, and design — is owned by Baashir Advisory Group Limited or used under licence. You may read and share links for personal or internal reference. You may not reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit our content without written permission. Client-specific deliverables are licensed for your internal use as set out in the engagement letter.
9. Third parties
Our website and reports may link to or introduce third parties — banks, funds, developers, technology vendors, or scholars. We do not control their content, privacy practices, or commercial viability. Your relationship with any third party is directly between you and them. See our Disclaimer for further detail.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Baashir Advisory Group Limited is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the website, tools, or advisory services — including financial loss, lost opportunity, or reliance on educational calculators or AI outputs.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law (including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence). Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a specific paid engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Privacy

12. Language versions
