What if I die without an Islamic will in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong intestacy rules apply. Shares may not match Faraid, and people Islam would exclude may inherit. A properly executed will is how you align civil formalities with Shariah priorities.
Can I leave everything to charity?
Under classical rules, bequests to non-heirs are generally limited to one-third unless heirs consent. We explain options in your draft; legal enforceability is for your solicitor.
Do you register the will for me?
No. We provide a registration and witnessing checklist. Execution and any filing steps are yours with legal counsel.
Are you a law firm or SFC-licensed?
Neither. Baashir is an independent Shariah advisory firm. We draft guidance documents; we do not give Hong Kong legal advice as solicitors or regulated investment advice.
